Karo Pashabadi, a Student From Kamyaran, Dies from Chemical Attacks on His School

According to the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Karo Pashabadi, a 16-year-old Kurdish student from the village of Pashaweh in Kamiyaran, Kurdistan province, passed away on April 7, 2023, at Milad Hospital in Tehran. 

Karo was one of the students targeted by chemical attacks on his school in Tehran and was hospitalized for three weeks before passing away. 

At least one other child, 11-year-old Fatemeh Rezaei, has died from chemical attacks on schools in Iran.
